My tastes in Pokemon change pretty often, to be honest..
I'm not sure if this is the best thing to call this page, but I think it's the best name for it. What happens with some Pokemon around every few months or so, is that I find a Pokemon that I've somewhat liked for a little bit, look into it a bit more, and get super invested in it.
This is happening right now for me with Zangoose. I'm actually obsessed with her right now. And I see nothing wrong in that.
Speaking of that pronoun, most people think of this one as male, but I think it's cuter and more unpopular to think of it as female. You should already know that I like unpopular things. If you don't, go check out Pokemon Post 1.
To be honest, I can't really pin down why I love her so much. It's all in the design, I guess. I kinda find it funny how it leans into the 'Z' part of it's name, having red 'Z' shaped fur markings on it. But it looks like lightning too, and I think it's pretty wicked. Plus the shiny just looks pretty too.
It is a really simple design though, but less is more sometimes. This is one of those cases. The design only has about 3-5 colors in it, but they made it work so well.
I also find it funny/cute/awesome that she looks pissed 24/7. I love the resting bitch face, what can I say? (Also, did you know that that's the real name for this phenomenon? (It's even the name of the Wikipedia article.))
Something I don't like however, is its insane beef with Seviper. I don't really like when whole species hate each other, and it kinda just makes it feel like their only purpose in life is to fight.
But speaking of Pokemon Post 1, I mentioned it a few lines back, Zangoose's rating has already shot up, to the point where it jumped out of the runners-up, to the numbered list.
It's even gone past just text and numbers too. The bi-monthly Minecraft server has already started in my friend group, and I'm using a Zangoose Minecraft skin. I'll post some pictures eventually.
However, she hasn't hit profile picture status just yet. Profile picture status is the final stage of obsession, as you should probably know with Lurantis. I think tomorrow I'm gonna change it on Discord.
